Sam, who just turned 10 this week, decided she wanted to get her haircut for the summer. And to have a style to her hair! It took a long time to grow her hair out but it is so thick and mostly unmanageable that when she has it shorter it looks fabulous!! Well – here is before and after!!!

Well, I officially started commuting about 2 weeks ago. I live 35 miles south of Atlanta in McDonough, GA. I work for an architecture firm in Midtown Atlanta. I have been driving by myself now for over 6 years! Parking at $120 a month AND outrageous gas prices have finally opened my eyes to the life of a commuter! It has been great! Not only am I saving money in gas and parking, but also the wear and tear on my van. The hours to ride work great with my work hours and my kids schedules! PLUS I can knit while commuting to work! That is the most exciting thing ever!!! I have to say that I have snoozed a bit too but mostly knitting! That is about 40 minutes each way so I can get a lot done!!! I am currently working on a baby blanket that I hope to have finished by August!!! Here are some pics!!
